Tools
Our tools are ideally aligned for the application on our injection moulding machines. Only one upper and one lower part of die are needed. Two work piece carrier magazines are needed for the sliding table machine and five for the linear transfer machine.
Our construction combines several advantages
- The tool is located inside the machine, away from the operator
- The operator is protected from the tool, from angles and edges of the workpiece carrier system
- The workpiece carrier sytem’s drive requires little energy, meaning little energy and weight endangering the operator
- The workpiece carrier magazine ensures a secure demoulding of the parts
- Due to the tripartition upper and lower die part and carrier magazine we can usually go without expensive core pullers
- Within 30 years of experience we were able to develop a lot of special techniques that can ease the operator’s life through a skilful tool and workpiece carrier design
Usually, our tools are hot runner moulds but we also have semi hot or cold-runner moulds. Due to the large mounting frame all cavities can be positioned in a row. The tools are assembled easily, with standard temperature sensors and heating cartridges.
We are particularly experienced in these areas
- Sealing strips
- Cable terminal blocks
- Workpiece loading and positioning
- Position and dimension of the gate
- Norms regarding plugs
- Dimensioning and calculation of the hot runner
We would be pleased to take over the construction of the tool or to advise your toolmaker on site concerning the construction and assembly of the tools.
- Straight Plugs
- Angle Plugs
- Other
Straight plugs - no matter if they are designed for white goods or automobile applications - present the classical application of AUTEV injection moulding machines. The plugs are plugged in „plug faces“ of the workpiece carrier magazine. Those can just be holes for plugs of white goods or wire-cut acceptance for individual forces.
The tools are constructed from fourfold up to twelvefould – twelvefold for automatic loading. The tools are usually dimensioned for hot runner technology, even for applications in PVC. We are also offering semi hot runner technology. A lot of our know-how refers to cable terminal blocks and the dimensioning and positioning of the gate system.
Our angle plugs are invaluable yet inexpensive
- Easy loading
- No core pullers
- Easy mechanics
- High cooling efficiency
With the special technique of pivoting the work piece carriers to the mold parting surface within the tool range of the machine we facilitate the insertion of the blanks into the work piece carrier magazine (sixfold tool) about 720 times an hour for the operator – or the access for automatic loading.
Even for a shot weight of 30 grammes we are realising an overall cycle of 30 seconds, owing to the cooling water line running through the mold insert.
This is how you can achieve the unrivalled piece costs and capacities our systems are known for. The tools are designed from four- to twelvefold, twelvefold for automatic loading. Usually, the tools are constructed in hot runner technology, including those for PVC applications. Yet we are happy to offer semi hot runner technique as well. A lot of our know-how refers to cable terminal blocks and the dimensioning and positioning of the gate system.
Even unsual plugs like the British plug can easily be realised with our tool concept. Similarily circuit boards, darts and other components are possible.
Even oversize components (sheet panels, pipes, heat exchangers) can be injection-moulded around by using our machine concept with a C-frame and we manufacture suitable tools for this purpose.
Additionally, very special security issues do not pose insurmountable hurdles for us. The fuse which can be seen in the picture carries a black powder lense which is protected by a steel capsule in the tool, so that there is no risk for man or machine even if the black powder is ignited.
