More light for less money thanks to dimming and lenses
It also pays to use AuLED Road on your streets
AuLED Road consists of a centrally positioned main fluorescent element and two other light modules arranged on the side whose tilt can be variably adjusted. This helps produce optimal light distribution and the highest degree of flexibility with various lighting requirements independent of the mast heights and distances. Light emission can be individually focused by individual configuration with lenses and thus adjusted to the widest variety of illumination requirements. This produces an optimal light distribution curve, improving lighting strength and preventing light pollution.

In addition to the immediate 40 percent energy saving compared to conventional street lights (100 percent in the graph), the dimming of the AuLED Road provides additional savings potential. Hence, individual dimming settings can be automatically regulated at different times.
Example of traffic light
While the full light power of the AuLED is used (dimming A), when switchon time starts with increased traffic, this can be turned down at a later period when only a few cars are on the road (B, C). If more light power is needed again, this is provided automatically at the adjusted time (D) so that during the morning rush hour, particularly during autumn and winter, full light power ensures safety (A).
- Modular fluorescent element for optimal illumination independently of height and distance of lights
- Independent use for various mast heights, distances and street dimensions
- Aluminium shock and vibration-proof housing, extremely weather-resistant, usable nearly everywhere
- Individual lens configuration to improve illumination strength and prevent light pollution
- Optimised thermal management for extension of LED lifecycle
- The highest level of energy efficiency and intelligent light management with dimming function to reduce energy costs
- Linear power control in one watt steps
- Automatic adjustment of individual dimming settings at specified times
- Resistant even to heavy voltage fluctuations
The integrated sender-recipient unit allows use of luminous power in 1 watt steps up to the maximum power level. This allows individual lights or light groups to be controlled and the available infrastructure to be used since control signals can be transmitted by both radio and electric power grid. A variety of dimming configurations can also be adjusted at defined periods. These light settings have a linear effect on energy use.
